The 2008 Valentines Park 5k Charity Sponsored Walk was such a resounding success that the Cardinal Heenan Centre have again teamed up with the Ilford Athletic Club to organise another bigger and better walk/run this year. Background The route will be 5k (3.1 miles) - 2 laps within the boundaries of Valentines Park. Invitations to many personalities to attend this memorable day are planned. Last year we enjoyed the company of the Mayor of Redbridge, Mike Gapes and Lee Scott MPs as well as Chris Carter of the Ilford Recorder. Plus fantastic press coverage in all local media outlets. |
